members of America's wine community. Consumers and wine professionals read the magazine for information on wine and spirits, including articles on established and up-and-coming regions and producers, the art and science of viticulture, restaurants and industry happenings and food and wine pairings. Wine and Spirits is the only American wine publication to win the James Beard Award for excellence in wine writing. The magazine evaluates more than 8,000 bottlings every year.

The reading material is fine, wine information is good. For my study, the Diploma Course of the WSET, it is advised reading material for studying. There is a large emphasis on american wines, this is sometimes disappointing because the general wine volume drunk in the European Union is of Europe, South Africa, Australia, Argentina and Chile.
Delivery of the magasin is ok. Only the subscription information receiving from the usa is of no benefit. Goes directly to the waste paper basket.
